Guess who's back? Yes he is back again! The incredible EMINEM!! I have been a huge Eminem fan from the beginning, back to his first LP done 13 years ago (even though I was only 3 then..). Anyways I love his music. I would say that Eminem is like the poet of our generation. He is the Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan or Jaques Brel (if you like French music) equivalent. He is a true creative genius! What I love about his music is that every time I listen to one of his songs I notice a new quirk which is just so witty and smart. Although my favourite album would probably be Curtain Call, he is most certainly not a one album type of artist. I am astounded that every time he creates a new album it is of the same sharp wit and caliber of his others, especially as he is not at such a ripe age anymore. He is now 40, which is crazy! Well, I am both very impressed that he is still producing such great albums and on top of that, that he is ageing with such grace. He is still looking pretty FINEEEE if you ask me.
Anyways, I am super excited for the Marshall Mathers LP 2. Although Eminem may not be that excited about its release, stating, "I'll probably be most excited to just be done with it," I certainly am! I listened to his new single 'Berzerk' recently and it is great! It is a kind of mixture of his old rapping style with his new chorus singing style.
The new album premieres 5 November and I hope that everybody checks it out!
